Data Retention Policy

This Data Retention Policy explains how Swift Convo ("we", "our") stores, retains, and deletes data associated with your use of our WhatsApp Business messaging platform. We are committed to retaining data only for as long as necessary to provide our services and strictly in compliance with applicable laws.
1. Data Categories and Retention Periods
The following table outlines the retention periods for different categories of data:

2. Message Content Storage
Swift Convo facilitates the transmission of messages via the WhatsApp Cloud API. We do not store the content of your messages permanently on our servers unless explicitly required for a feature (e.g., "Conversation History") that you have enabled. Transient message content is deleted from our processing servers after 30 days.
3. Account Deletion
You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support. Upon account deletion:
- Active subscription billing will cease immediately.
- Access to the dashboard and API will be revoked.
- All personal data and message history will be permanently deleted from our active database within 30 days, except for data we are legally required to retain (e.g., invoice records).
4. Backups
We maintain participation in secure, encrypted backups for disaster recovery purposes. Data in backups is overwritten on a rolling basis and is fully deleted within 90 days of the original data deletion.
